Dropping their second project together Radio host and veteran rapper Labalaa has teamed up with producer and fellow rapper O-Mae together with new comer Beryl Owano in this new banger dubbed “Wanataka Kula” (They need to eat)
The new track which is a urban hiphop tracked fused with an African style, talks about the struggles of African youths trying to make it in their respective expertise but are hindered by the financial factor.
“Wanataka Kula is a song that paints an image of how the youth go through the struggles of making it their respective fields of occupation only that their financial capabilities hinder them from achieving their goals and dreams” They explain.
The video shot somewhere in the suburbs of Nairobi depict the true struggles of ordinary African youths and a plus to the video is the amazing wardrobe by the three artist.
The song was written by Kelly Makau, Brian Omae aka O-Mae and Beryl Owano, produced by O-Mae, Beat by Cedar and O-Mae and the video was directed by Trey Juelz.
