The Ondo State Governor-elect, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), has recommended his opponents on the final governorship election within the state for accepting the results of the election in good religion.
The time allowed by legislation to file petitions on the Election Petitions Tribunal to problem the ballot consequence lapsed on Sunday, December 18, 2016, which was 21 days after the announcement of the outcomes of the ballot.
No contestant had filed a petition towards the winner of the ballot as of Sunday.
