An Akure Chief Magistrates’ Courtroom on Thursday slammed a N500, 000 bail on a 38-yr-previous man, Samsodeen Quadri, who allegedly acquired a stolen Tecno mini phantom iPad valued at N450,000.
The Chief Justice of the Peace, Mr Sunday Adedapo, who gave the ruling, additionally granted Quadri one surety in like sum as a part of the bail situation.
He stated the surety should swear to an affidavit of means and in addition present proof of tax fee to Ondo State Authorities.
The accused is dealing with a cost of receiving stolen merchandise to which he pleaded not responsible.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Sgt. Uloh Okokon advised the court docket that the accused dedicated the offence on Dec.15, 2016 in Akure.
