The Kwara Authorities mentioned on Thursday that it had closed 132 unlawful non-public faculties working within the state.
Hajia Zainab Bello, the Director of High quality Assurance within the Ministry of Training and Human Capital Improvement, mentioned other than being unlawful, the faculties have been working in unhygienic setting.
Bello, who spoke on behalf of Alhaji Musa Yeketi, State Commissioner for Training and Human Capital Growth whereas closing 19 different non-public faculties, stated authorities had begun verification of tertiary establishments within the state.
She mentioned the target of the train was to fish out these violating the legal guidelines that established them.
Bello mentioned the federal government had beforehand shut down faculties which had been both constructed with wood planks or working with out due authorisation from the state authorities.
