Bayelsa State college students on scholarships learning at King’s College Faculty, Ghana, could also be despatched again house over unpaid college charges, it has been learnt.
The scholars are reportedly stated to be having a troublesome time over the event, with the varsity authorities threatening to expel them.
A human rights activist, Mr. Aluzu Augustine, raised the problem of Bayelsa college students stranded on the the KUC in Ghana.
Aluzu expressed the priority following a letter addressed to the scholars by the registrar of the college, Mr. Simion Isekpo, threatening to expel them if Bayelsa State Authorities did not pay their (college students’) charges.
The letter, a duplicate despatched by way of piece of email to our correspondent, reads partly, “Administration of the college needs to tell all college students being sponsored by the Bayelsa State Scholarship Board that ought to your excellent and present charges not be paid by October 15, 2016 deadline, the college would don’t have any alternative however expel you from the college on October sixteen, 2016.

Already, it was learnt that the Ghanaian faculty had barred the affected college students from taking part at school actions, however had but to subject a round expelling them.
