He gave the names of members of the committee as Prof. Okechukwu Ibeanu, Chairman; AVM Ahmed T. Mu’azu, (Nationwide Commissioner), member; Prof. Jacob Jatau, (Resident Electoral Commissioner, FCT), member; Omoloja Tajudeen, Deputy Director (Self-discipline).

He mentioned the committee was directed to submit its report on January 30, 2027.

We had reported on Tuesday that the Chairman of the fee, Prof. Mahmud Yakubu, had instituted a 4-man panel to probe the actions of the fee’s members of employees within the Rivers polls.

Dazang mentioned the fee accredited the promotion of the affected personnel after a gathering on Tuesday in Abuja.

He mentioned, “Fourteen had been officers promoted from Grade Stage sixteen to Grade Degree 17 (substantive administrators) whereas 1,293 had been officers from Grade Ranges 7 to sixteen.”
